Your software APIs are automatically checked to detect any issues. This, in addition to offering the highest quality software, allows you to contain maintenance costs and adaptation to new versions of operating systems and web browsers or to the addition of new features in the future.
In the book “Working Effectively With Legacy Code”, Michael Feathers states that “legacy” (i.e. old, obsolete) programs are simply programs that do not have automatic tests and are therefore difficult and expensive to maintain, update and expand.
